Covid-19 has substantially impacted the lives of many and continues to be a pressing issue in our community. After a considerable amount of thought, our farm has developed a series of protocol that will be enforced in the market and for this coming strawberry season to ensure the safety of our staff, our customers and the community at large. Listed below are the necessary steps that will be taken to ensure that our operation adheres to the regulations set out by the Ministry of Health. Please review the following list before coming to the farm. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we try to move forward with our season.
If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of Covid-19, have come into contact with anyone who has tested positive or have recently travelled, please stay home. A self assessment may be done at
Anyone exhibiting symptoms will not be permitted entry to our farm.
Maintain social distancing of 2m from others and follow posted directions on the farm.
Masks are required to be worn to and from the picking area. People not wearing a mask will not be permitted entry, with the exception of children under five. We ask that you wear your mask should any issue of distancing arise.
Please dispose of any used masks, gloves, etc. in waste receptacles provided.
Do not bring your own containers to pick in unless they are clearly marked in litres - we will not be weighing the strawberries this year. We have 2, 4 and 7 litre containers to pick in.
No eating/sampling is permitted.
No pets are permitted on the farm.
No events or picnicking are permitted.
Please make sure that children are supervised at all times and remain with their group.
Portable toilets on site are for emergencies only.
A maximum of one person or a family who isolated together are permitted in the store at one time.
Please sanitize your hands upon entry to the store.
Masks must be worn in the store. Anyone not wearing a mask will not be permitted in the store. Products they wish to purchase will be picked by an employee and brought out for them to purchase from an outdoor stand.
